The agent cannot connect to the server

If after installation the agent is unable to connect to the server – or connected just once – make sure that the port used to communicate between them is not blocked by your firewall. By default it is port  21200 – it means that the computer with an Agent installed ought to connect via this port. 

Some antivirus bases mark applications as trusted – in this case you need to mark the uplook agent as trusted.

A default path of the executive file is as follows:

C:\Program Files (x86)\A plus C Systems\uplook\Agent\Uplook.Agent.Service.exe

Warning

To check whether port 21200 is not blocked and the agent listens on int, you may use Telnet. In the command line interface use “telnet x.x.x.x 21200” – here, x.x.x.x means an IP address of the computer that cannot access the server. If a messsage about a failure in communication is displayed, check network settings once again
