The agent does not send data

If in Master console despite the agent has online status some reports display information about the lack of data:

Check uplook Agent logs on the computer. If you find such entry there:


Logger:             Uplook.Agent.Core.AgentCore [Void MainThreadRoutine()]

Type:               Error

PID/TID:            13372/13

Message:            Error while executing Hardware.SendData()

Exception:          System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException

Message:          "Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {F02635AC-3BB8-4E68-9066-CAE1D218E3F6} failed due to the following error: 80040154 Class not registered (Exception)..

It means that uplook system monitor service was not registered properly.

Solution:

  1. Delete the current installation of uplook Agent
  2. Install the Agent according to the server version
  3. Scan software and hardware

Every operation may be performed from computer tree in Computers tab.
